We are very excited to invite you to join us for our inaugural quinquennial (that means every 5 years) party. We'll update this webpage to provide more details closer to the event, but please refer to the Q&A below for now.

What is this?

This is the first of a series of recurring parties that we will hold once every five years in an effort to get our friends and families together to have some fun. Every five years we'll do the same thing, but in a different place.

This first party will also celebrate Jamie and Jeremy as a couple because we can. We will have been together for 15 years and we'd greatly enjoy celebrating with you. To be sure, it isn't a wedding and there will be no ceremony or anything resembling a ceremony, just a party and celebration.

The party will begin with a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing.

Who is invited?

You and plenty of other fun people, but no kids. Feel free to bring your under 21-year-old kids to Cabo, but DO NOT bring them to the party. This rule is firm.

Are your single? We're excited to see who you'll bring. If you're not bringing a significant other, feel free to bring whomever you want as long as they are >21 and don't suck.

Why are you doing this?

Because we can. I mean, financially it's a terrible decision, but we have no material obligations and we miss getting loved ones together. So, why not?

When is the party?

The party will be on Saturday, June 11, 2022 beginning at 7:00 pm. We encourage you to come enjoy Cabo for as long as you desire. Jamie and Jeremy will be in Cabo from Thursday, June 9 to Sunday, June 12 and we'll share some fun ideas of things we can do together or separately during that time.

Where is this party being held?

The party will be on the rooftop of the Thompson Cape Hotel in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We have arranged special room rates at the Thompson Hotel.

What should I wear?

Dress to the 9s. Black-tie with some Cabo flair. In clear terms, we encourage tuxedos or suits for men and cocktail dresses for women, with a beachy angle if you're so inclined.

Where should I stay?

We recommend staying at the hotel where we will have the party, the Thompson Cape Hotel. You can access special rates at the hotel by clicking here. Of course, there are plentiful hotel and AirBnB options in the Cabo area, so feel no obligation to stay at the Thompson if you prefer somewhere else.

How do I get there?

We recommend flying into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) on almost any major airline. The drive from there to the Thompson Cape Hotel is about 40 minutes. We recommend arranging a private car or taking a cab. You're all adults, you'll figure it out.

Should I get you a gift?

Please, no gifts. Seriously. We will light them on fire.
